Founded in 2020, Testudo Hauling & Contracting is a growing construction company based in Trinidad and Tobago. Inspired by the Roman "testudo" formation — symbolizing strength, protection, and teamwork — we approach every project with practical execution and a commitment to quality.

Our leadership team brings hands-on experience across civil engineering, infrastructure support, welding, steel fabrication, plumbing, and general construction. We specialize in small-to-midsize residential and commercial projects, focusing on reliable workmanship, regulatory compliance, and clear communication at every stage.

Ryan Chan Chow

Founder & Project Manager

Ryan Chan Chow is a civil engineering specialist with over 7 years of experience managing infrastructure support works, including guard booth construction, grease trap installations, solar lighting system installations, and minor supporting works on highway projects. His hands-on background as a Land Surveying Technician strengthens his ability to deliver accurate site layouts and ensure projects meet regulatory standards. Ryan focuses on practical, compliant execution for small-to-midsize construction projects throughout Trinidad and Tobago.

Experience: 7+ years in field construction, minor infrastructure works, and surveying support.

Credentials: BSc Civil Engineering, Member of APETT.

Anand Maharaj

Senior Tradesman - Welding & Plumbing

Anand Maharaj brings over 11 years of hands-on experience in welding, steel fabrication, and plumbing systems for residential and light commercial structures. With a strong practical background, Anand focuses on delivering durable, code-compliant builds across multiple trades. His commitment to quality workmanship has supported successful project completions for a variety of construction clients.

Experience: 11+ years specializing in structural steel fabrication, plumbing installation, and general construction.

Credentials: Specialized training in Plumbing Layout and Steel Fabrication Techniques.

Aamir Ahamad

IT & Procurement Support (Volunteer)

Aamir Ahamad leverages his expertise in software and data analysis to advise construction businesses on optimizing their operations. He provides strategic guidance on technology adoption, project planning, and resource management, helping teams implement solutions that drive efficiency and cost savings. Aamir also supports field teams by sourcing cost-effective materials and translating complex data into actionable insights, ensuring clear communication and effective decision-making for clients.
